一 : 分词作插入语

其结构是固定的，意思上的主语并不是句子的主语。
　generally speaking　一般说来
　talking of (speaking of) 说道
　strictly speaking 严格的说
　judging from 从…判断
　all things considered 从整体来看
　taking all things into consideration　全面看来

　　judging from his face, he must be ill.　从他的脸色看，他一定是病了。
　　generally speaking, dogs can run faster than pigs. 总的来说，狗比猪跑得快。 (speaking 并不是dogs 的动作)

三 : 分词作状语的问题~~~~~1)Seeingthemillion-

分词作状语的问题~~~~~

1)Seeing the milln-pound note,the shop assistant stood there dumbfounded.
这里据说是分词作状语，可是我好象看不出，谁帮我举个其他例子顺便讲解一下为什么不填dumbfounding.

2)Placed at the rear of the craft,the order propeller steers scraft.
首先这个句子我看不大懂．．．汗．．希望解释一下
也是分词作状语，　请教一下为什么不是Placing

３）表示被动用过去分词，表示主动用现在分词，那如果既表示被动又表示进行怎么办？（就是有没有being done 作状语的这种结构，）

答：这里seeing是assistant看到的，是主动的，用现在分词；doumbfounded是assistant的补足语，是被动的，因此，用过去分词。

也是分词作状语，　请教一下为什么不是Placing

答：the order propeller只能被放在...，所以，用过去分词，表示被动。

３）表示被动用过去分词，表示主动用现在分词，那如果既表示被动又表示进行怎么办？（就是有没有being done 作状语的这种结构，）

答：您不要设计英语。being done，是英语的被动语态中的进行时态。

英语中，如果主动被动同时存在，解决办法是分而表达之，如：THe book is interesting to me，and I am interested。
